Well, I guess I won’t be able to produce and release music for a good while. After few days of my copy of FL constantly crashing on me for no apparent reason, I broke it to myself that I’ll have to take a sabbatical on digitally producing music until I buy a new computer or copy of FL Studio (depending on the problem if I ever resolve that). However, my music journey won’t stop there! I’m going to push myself to get into musescore after being recommended to it by a friend so I can still come up with some tunes and ultimately improve my songwriting by a ton, and hopefully when I’m done I will make those tunes into fully-fleshed songs and release them. For my release radar right now, I still have one more song to release (which should be soon) and what I’m planing to do after that will be to compile an EP out of my favorite songs from my prime time, a good way to conclude an era I suppose. We’ll see what comes next…

Have you tried a different DAW? It could be a compatibility issue with just FLStudio. Sometimes older computers can’t handle updated versions of popular software.
For example, my computer can’t run Blender very well but it can run other 3D software with barely a problem occurring. I believe this was due to the 2.8 overhaul Blender did to the software.

I dunno, I’m using a copy of FL Studio 12 which I thought was perfect with all the plugins and stuff. It worked fine for about 3 months until now, so I have no idea. I’ve experimented with other DAWs before but I feel like with my style now I can’t fall back on the other ones, unless I flat out compose midis which don’t receive any attention at all since there’s really no convenient site or platform to upload them without it being obscure. Does this mean I need a different computer, a different copy of FL, or a new DAW in general?
